Joyeuse is one of three foals out of Kind currently still in training

Frankel's half-sister has been named Joyeuse

Frankel's two-year-old half-sister has been named Joyeuse and is now at Sir Henry Cecil's yard in preparation for her racing career.

She is pictured here as a foal in 2011.

Like Frankel, Joyeuse's dam is Kind, but unlike Frankel her sire is Oasis Dream, Frankel's stablemate at Banstead Manor Stud.

You can read more about Oasis Dream - who is one of the leading sires in Great Britain - here.

Joyeuse is to date the only female foal produced by Kind, and is one of three foals out of Kind currently still in training. The other two are Noble Mission, a four-year-old full-brother to Frankel, and Morpheus, a three-year-old full-brother to Joyeuse. All of the siblings are in training at Sir Henry Cecil's Warren Place yard in Newmarket.
