Mirage Dancer (pictured as a foal) was held-up towards the rear of the field before beginning to make headway over two furlongs out, and chasing the leaders down in the last 50 yards to win on his very first start [at Doncaster].

He is a half-brother to the dual Gr.3-placed Forge (Dubawi), out of the dual Gr.1 winner Heat Haze (Green Desert).

She is a half-sister to several Group winners including the dual Gr.1 winner Intercontinental (Danehill), the dual Gr.1 winner and sire Cacique (Danehill), the triple Gr.1 winner and sire Champs Elysees (Danehill), the Champion Three-Year-Old Filly and triple Gr.1 winner Banks Hill (Danehill; dam of the Gr.1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Romantica and the Listed winner Ideal World), the Champion sire and Champion Miler Dansili (Danehill) and the Gr.3 Cardinal Handicap winner Deluxe (Storm Cat).
