She'll probably go for the Princess Margaret or the Lowther at York now

Queen Kindly wins again

Queen Kindly - who was Frankel's first filly born and became his first filly to run and win on 3rd June - won her second race on Wednesday at Catterick.

The filly, who is trained by Richard Fahey, was a long odds-on prospect and gave her sire his eighth win from 14 runs. Last month she was a close third in the Albany Stakes Gr.3 at Royal Ascot, and was returned to Catterick (scene of her debut win) this time with the aim of giving her more experience.

She holds an entry for the Lowther Stakes Gr.2 at York on 18th August. Assistant trainer Robin O'Ryan said: "We wanted to give her more experience as it was greenness that beat her at Ascot. She'll probably go for the Princess Margaret or the Lowther at York now."
