Midday to be Frankel's first mare

Juddmonte has confirmed that Midday is in line to be the first mare to visit Frankel.

Midday (pictured above with her first foal, a colt by Galileo), a six-time Gr.1-winning mare, is scheduled to be covered by the champion racehorse at Banstead Manor Stud.

Like Frankel, she is owned by Juddmonte Farms and the pair were formerly in training at Sir Henry Cecil’s stable in Newmarket.

Midday, who recently gave birth to her first foal – a colt by Galileo, is part of first-season sire Frankel's exceptional book of mares for 2013.
