Frankel filly born at The National Stud

Song, a full sister to Group 1 winners Yesterday and Quarter Moon, produced a bay filly by Frankel early on Sunday morning at The National Stud in Newmarket.

Managing Director of The National Stud Brian O’Rourke reported that both mare and foal are doing well, and that the filly is “a very nice quality, athletic individual.”

Song is owned by Mr Khalid Abdul Rahim of Bahrain, and was recently purchased in foal to Frankel at the Goffs November Breeding Stock Sale for €1 million.
