Limited edition prints mark Frankel's 6th birthday and raise money for EACH

Award-winning equine photographer Mark Harvey, whose previous subjects include Olympian William Fox-Pitt and show jumper Ellen Whitaker, will be releasing limited edition prints of his portrait of Frankel.

The prints will be released on 11th February to mark the 6th anniversary of Frankel’s foaling, and will be available for purchase via the photographer’s website (www.mark-harvey.com).

The triple-washed C-type prints, which are created using the traditional method of exposing paper then sending it through a wet printing process, will be issued in three limited-edition sizes with prices ranging from £280 for a 24” by 16” print to £1,100 for a 60” by 40” version, of which only 50 editions will be made. An open edition measuring 15” by 10” will also be available, priced at £85. Each print will come complete with a signed numbered certificate of authenticity, and will be signed, numbered and embossed.

Harvey regularly works with owners and trainers and was commissioned by Juddmonte Farms, the racing and breeding operation at which Frankel is now resident, to photograph the horse on his retirement. Access to this great racehorse is extremely limited – Harvey is one of the few select artists who has ever been allowed to work with him.

20 per cent from each sale will be donated to EACH – the charity chosen by Frankel’s trainer, Sir Henry Cecil, and now Juddmonte Farms' charity of choice for Frankel fundraising.
